Stainless steel tanks: the use of stainless steel tank safety matters

Stainless steel tanks have many types, can be applied to different industries to meet different needs, but in use there are many safety matters needing attention:
1, stainless steel tank area should be kept clean, fire embankment should be no hay, no oil, no combustible materials.
2, the drainage system should be set up to seal the well; drain outside the fire embankment should be set up valves; tank discharge, there should be a person to monitor, clean up the residual oil in the water seal well in a timely manner.
3, should be set up in accordance with the provisions of the fire embankment, fire embankment should be maintained in good condition.
4, the tank area should not be installed non-explosion-proof electrical equipment and high-pressure extrusion lines.
5, the oil storage tank top of the translucent holes, check the ruler hole cover, gasket should be kept intact, hole cover should be covered tightly. Measurement of oil should be equipped with non-sparking metal gaskets.
6, the top of the tank should be free of oil and water. Oil storage tanks in and out of oil pipelines, valves should take insulation measures.
7, oil storage tanks in and out of the oil pipeline should be installed toughness hose compensator.
8, oil storage tanks on the breathing valve, hydraulic safety valve base should be equipped with flame arresters. Flame arresters should be checked at least once a quarter.
9, steel tank tanks should be set up to prevent lightning and static electricity grounding device, its grounding resistance should not be greater than 10. grounding point along the bottom of the tank every 30m set at least one, a single tank grounding should not be less than two.
10, every spring should be a comprehensive inspection of lightning protection and anti-static grounding device, test the grounding resistance value should meet the requirements.
11, floating roof tank pontoon and the tank wall should be connected between two cross-sectional area of not less than 25mm2 soft copper wire.
12、The oil storage tank should be filled with oil in the safe tank level operation.
13, when the level of condensate is higher than the heating coil, should be heated with steam riser, to be melted condensate, and then heated with steam coil.
14, should not wear chemical fiber clothing and shoes with nails on the tank. In the top of the tank should not open and close the non-explosion-proof torch.
15, stainless steel tank area oil pipeline fire, tank cleaning operations should be implemented industry regulations.
16, oil storage tanks on fire, should immediately report and stop the fire tank operations. Organize fire extinguishing and start the emergency plan at the right time.
